In 1998, with six strong shareholders supported, TFB assembled a group of talented management team from horticultural industry, founded Taiwan's first vertically integrated floral company－Taiwan Flower Biotechnology company Co., Ltd. (TFB). The initial capital of TFB is one billion NT dollars (approximately 30 million US dollars in April 1999). TFB has its headquarter in Taipei, and several stations at various locations including Puli, Chiai and Huwei in Taiwan. Currently, the main products of TFB include young plants, cut flowers, cut leaves, pot plants, foliage plants, horticultural supplies, fertilizer and chemical products. The business area and territory keep on expanded in response to practical needs in the market place these few years. We still try to build up more clients and customers relationship for goods.
Taiwan is situated at the boundaries of tropical and subtropical zones. The various altitude landform also combines low elevation plants and cool climate high lands to provide the best conditions for year round floral production.
Geographically location also facilitate the close monitoring of Asia Pacific market dynamics. TFB will take advantage of these favorable conditions along with recent technical and scientific advances in Taiwan to promote floral product export business in Asia. TFB will license competitive patented products and utilize well developed production capability as well as international marketing channels and becomes the leader in the fast growing Asian market. It 's TFB's fundamental strategy to aggressively develop and establish strategic alliance with companies, both inside and outside of Taiwan. We believe that TFB will become Asia's primary floral production center and world's major supplier of tropical flowers in the very near future. It is also our goal to offer the founding investors their return by quickly own floral company.
